Dr. Oluwabunmi Dada
Dr. Oluwabunmi Dada is an assistant professor of Occupational Safety and Health at ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú. She holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Health Sciences from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2019. Her research interests focus on examining the health effects of e-cigarette use, including aerosol chemistry, particle formation, and their public health implications, utilizing tools such as NMR spectroscopy. She also investigates health disparities and chronic disease outcomes related to substance use and environmental exposures, with particular attention to vulnerable and marginalized populations. In addition, she explores community health resilience through disaster preparedness, response strategies, and recovery efforts, especially in industrial and environmental emergency contexts. More recently, she expanded her work to study longevity and well-being in relation to Blue Zones, analyzing the lifestyle, social, and environmental factors that contribute to extended health span and quality of life.
